Getting started at Brittany Beauty Academy is simpler than you might think. To apply, you’ll need to be at least 16½ years old, hold a high school diploma or GED (non-US diplomas are accepted), and complete a personal interview with our admissions team. No diploma yet? Our Career Pathways program lets qualifying students earn their High School Equivalency while working toward their beauty license at the same time.
Once you reach out, our team will walk you through every step — from your initial conversation to your first day of class. We also welcome transfer students and international students, and financial aid is available for those who qualify. The best thing you can do right now is get in touch and we’ll take it from there.

Transfer Students
Do you have hours from another school? We understand that life happens getting in the way of your future dreams. That’s why Brittany Beauty Academy welcomes transfer students! Contact our admission team to discuss your previous training and explore your transfer credit options. We can evaluate your skills and assess your prior coursework.
International Students
Our international division has had great success with students from many countries. Brittany Beauty Academy is licensed by the State Education Department of New York to teach in English and Spanish. Additionally, we are approved through the Department of Homeland Security to offer students an I-20 form to study at all of our locations in the United States. We encourage all prospective students to schedule a tour of one of our Brittany Beauty Academy campuses. During your tour, an admissions representative will show you around the campus so you can see the classrooms and student-run salon. You’ll also have a chance to meet some instructors and see how our students learn their new beauty skills. It’s a great way to learn more about the school and see if it’s the right fit for you.
